Deanne McIntyre began as an apprentice goldsmith over 30 years ago after minoring in Constructive Design at Florida State University. She has lived in many places, from Miami FL to Green Bay WI with two years in Dun Laoghaire Ireland in between. As a professional goldsmith, she continued to design and repair fine jewelry wherever she called home. Her designs represent the fluid integration of precious metals and natural gems. Asheville was home while raising her children; and her membership in the SHCG dates back to 1985. She is once again a resident of this inspiring and creative area. Her lifetime of experience and learning is now focused on creating jewelry that delights Asheville residents and visitors alike. Willow Wisp Farm Studios is the working art studio of artist/painter Peggy Taylor, the woodworking shop of Mike Taylor and a small gallery open by appointment only or on special occassions. Landscape paintings, prints and note cards of the local area are available in the gallery and on our website. If you are interested in a painting of your view, we can do that too. A selection of beautiful handcrafted wood items made by Mike can be found along with some gourmet creations from the Artist's Palate If you would rather paint than buy a painting, ask us about our private art lesson and a ongoing group classes for both adults and children. Or, attend our "Open Studio" each Friday from 9:00am - 3:00pm and learn from your peers though the power of painting with a group.
